Cryotherapy- The application of ice is used to compress and reduce swelling in the tissues. Surface cooling restricts blood flow, numbs painful areas, and relaxes muscle spasms.

Moist heat- By applying moist heat to the area increases the blood flow to the tissues, improves joint function, and increases metabolism. When a muscle tissue relaxes joint  and muscle function improve. This therapy can also increase blood and lymph circulation.

Interferentiaal Electro Therapy- Interferential therapy is a treatment to aid in relief of pain and the promotion of soft tissue of healing. Waves of electrical impulses intersect below the skin surface and prompts the body to secrete endorphins nad other natural pain killers.

Ultrasound- It is used as a therapeutic treatment for soft tissue injuries. Sound waves penetrate the deep tissues in the body breaking up scar tissue and giving the patient a warm relaxing feeling. It also works great on the bursal tissue of the body.

Myofascial Release- A trigger point is an area of uncontrolled muscle tightness. This tenderness can interfere with normal muscle function causinf weakness and loss of range of motion. Myofascial release is a highly effective way to reduce muscle spasm and relax a hyperactive muscle.

Intersegmental Traction-  It introduces a passive wave of motion into the spine of a patient and is great way o prepare for a spinal adjustment.

Therapeutic Exercises- At some point in treatment, the patient must take an active form in their own treatment through exercise. It usually starts in the office and then tranfers to home therapy. Core spinal exercises and strengthening are important for maintaining strength and flexibility of the spine.

Lumbar Disc Decompression- Certain low back condition such as sciatica and disc herniations may sometimes require gentle, nonforce procedure called Flexion Distraction. This procedure uses a specialized table to help properly align the vertebrae and disc while removing tension from the low back musculature. It widens the disc space, reduces intradiscal pressure, stretches the posterior longitudinal ligament, separates the apophyseal joint and "sucks back in the herniated nucleus pulposus".

Low Level Laser Therapy- It is a therapeutic nonthermal (cold) laser which is FDA approved. It produces a deeper, up to 5 cm, effect in the cells and structures of the body to speed up and stregthen the healing process. It redueces pain, inflammation, swelling and accelerates the healing process.
