Low Level Laser Therapy

Microlight laser is the first patented, FDA cleared cold laser  in the US. The microlight laser offers superior effectiveness, highest quality, greatest patient comfort and safety.

The ML830R is a cold laser (nonthermal) infrared laser device. Its 830 nanometer wavelength penetrates up to 2 inches below the skins surface without producing heat, to stimulate photo-reactive cellular receptor (chromophores). The energy of the laser photons prompts these structures to dramatically accelerate healing processes, increases micro-vacularization and speeding the rate of tissue repair. The results diminishes pain, reduces inflammation and edema, faster healing times, increases the tensile strength of the repaired tissues.

The actual effect of laser therapy begins at the time of treatment but generally only becomes apparent several hours after the treatment. Some patients will feel relief of pain and experience an increased range of motion right away. If the condition being treated is chronic and severe, it may take several treatment sessions to produce a significant result.

Generally, 5 factors determine the likelihood of success:
1. How long you have had the problem
2. Your overall health
3. Your age
4. Depth of the condition
5. Severity of the condition

Laser treatments may take as little as 5 minutes to 20 minutes. the total number of treatments is generally 8-15. The effect of laser therapy is not just temporary relief, it is cumulative over time, so the more treatments you have, the stronger and more permanent the effect.

There is a wide range of conditions that may be successfully treated, including:
